At the end of March I was in Arizona and received a call about a broken website because I am known for emergency repair. It turned out the website was hacked and I had to clean it, an unsuspected end result.
It was littered with casino ads but worse, malicious code.
I manually cleaned the website and restored full functionality. I installed Wordfence and instructed the site owner how to keep the site safe from here on.
A subscription with Maui Computer.com would have likely prevented this from ever occurring.
Is your website worth another $20/month to keep it secured, monitored up to date and to keep you apprised of unsecure or abandoned plugins and out of date code? You bet it is!
