Located at 120 Kaukahi St, Wailea, HI 96753, Wailea Healing Center is the healing, health and renewal spa website of Wailea Healing Center in Wailea Maui. On January 18th 2025 I was alerted that waileahealingcenter.com website had been overtaken by malicious software. Shortly thereafter I diagnosed and cleaned the website from a casino spamming script that inserted advertisements to online casinos from which I cleaned it. I migrated the website hosting from Flywheel hosting to Bluehost hosting thereby gaining the client a more affordable, faster and safer option in web hosting.
Adding New Spa Web Pages
At that time the client asked me to update the site with a new page for their new service “Body Renewed Hawaii” Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy, Infrared Sauna and cold-plunge therapy in a variety of spa combinations, subscriptions and memberships. Highlighting the new therapist Shannon Kahelelani Galligher-Sheldon who brings her family’s ancient wisdom into the modern day. The spa includes the most modern therapy technologies to renew your body and mind. I used the sole resource, a PDF file to isolate the resources and repurpose the parts as text and images for the page.
Website Security and Maintenance
I added waileahealingcenter.com to my list of clients for website security and maintenance and continue to service them with a quarterly subscription that includes the security software Wordfence, remote backups to google drive and routine plugin and theme updates.
